Doane was lucky to have you play! The songs I most enjoyed were "Time Machine", "Behind Your Eyes", and "Just Another Holiday". That song in particular spoke volumes to me about my mother and I appreciated identifying with someone in a similar situation. You had incredibly crisp and clear vocals that permeated right through me. I really enjoyed how you mixed up the pace of each song and I could tell that everyone in the audience was connecting to who you were and what you were singing about. Your personality is amazing and having the chance to interact with you after the set was nice as well. Nebraska would love to have you back.

Unlike other musical acts that have performed at Andrew College, Mike Sullivan sang mostly original songs. The gifted musician placed his own spin on the classic songs he did cover and they were excellent. As good as the covers songs were, his originals were even better. The standout songs from his 17 song set were "Behind Your Eyes" and "Angel Dust", and certain members of the crowd asked Sullivan to repeat them as encores. Sullivan gave by far the best musical performance that I've seen on campus and he would be more than welcome to come again. Mike Sullivan Band gets 5 stars out of 5.

I just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed listening to you play last tuesday in Simi. Your holiday song is very touching. i'm from Germany and since i moved here i've been going home for Christmas every year. My brother has been handicapped his whole life and your song reminded me a lot of home. Anyways, great music. We liked it and i thought you ought to know.

decatur celebration 8-5

Dear Mike, I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that I really enjoyed listening to your performance at the Decatur Celebration on August 5th. There are very few bands that would cause me to stop to listen in the blistering 92 degree heat! "Still Inside of Me" was awesome. My brother and I both appreciated your style and agreed that you were DEFINITELY worth stopping to listen to. Thanks so much for the awesome performance. Come play the NW Indiana region sometime!

central virginia community college 10-5

I saw Mike on Wednesday, October 5th at Central Virginia Community College. He was great. I really liked his style of music. He was very entertaining and I thought his songs were terrific. I don't know the name of the song, but the one about wanting to not be with a boring person in a relationship was great. (That's one of my newest songs... "Anything Other Than Boring". -Michael)

I didn't get a chance to actually tell Mike how great he was. I really enjoyed listening to him. There aren't many good songwriters and performers around that I have found. I hope to see him perform again. He made the comment about still looking for that someone special. I hope he finds who he is looking for. He seems like a great guy. Mike, you have a great voice and I hope you go far in your career.
